The first round of application is intended only for students who will continue their education at UMCS in the 2025/2026 academic year.

Therefore, during the first round of application only the following groups of students can apply:

a) current students:

• I to IV-year students of long-cycle programmes,
• I, II-year bachelor’s degree students (3-year programmes),
• I, II and III-year engineer’s degree students (3,5-year programmes),
• I-year students of second-cycle (master’s degree) programmes,

b) current doctoral students as well as doctoral schools’ students:

• I, II – year students from doctoral schools,
• III, IV – year doctoral students.

Applications for on-campus housing should be submitted ONLY via the USOSweb system.

During the first round of application, students cannot apply for accommodation in the “Helios” Residence Hall. 

The procedure of applying for on-campus housing for 2024/25 academic year starts on Monday, June 9, 2025 and lasts until Friday, June 27, 2025.

The person who will be granted a place in the dormitory is obliged to:

• confirm the allocated place by July 15, 2025, via USOSweb (after July 3, 2025);
• pay the deposit fee (no later than July 22, 2025). 

The amount of a one-time deposit fee is PLN 400. The deposit is paid by bank transfer to the student's individual account.

The account number will be visible in: USOSweb -> Common Section -> Payments (Model FK) -> bank accounts of the university.

The second round of applications will be for newly accepted candidates for the I year of bachelor, master and doctoral degree students in the 2025/2026 academic year.
